LETTERMORE PROJECT:
Project Description:
This project was successfully carried out and part funded under SEAI’s Better Energy Warmer Homes Area Based Scheme 2014.
SE Systems were contracted by the Galway Community Based Organisation, First Class Insulation, to assist them in delivering the energy upgrade work to this project. The project involved a deep retrofit of energy upgrade measures to 39 Fuel Poor Homes on Lettermore Island, Co. Galway.
SE Systems were appointed as Main Contractor and PSCS to co-ordinate, survey and install the following energy upgrade measures;
High Efficiency Oil Boiler Upgrades | Fully Integrated Heating Control | External Wall Insulation inc Ventilation | Cavity Wall Insulation inc Ventilation | Attic Insulation inc Ventilation | Window & Door Replacement | Chimney Draught Stop | CFL Lighting | Building Energy Ratings | Energy Advice
As Main Contractor and PSCS for this project SE Systems carried out the following roles:

Project Supervisor Construction Stage.

Project Management.

Health and Safety Co-ordinator.

Appointment and Management of Sub-Contractors to include all trades.

Scheduling of Work Programmes and administration of weekly site meetings.

Co-ordination of Services with ESB Networks.

Liaise with Tenants on work schedules.
-
Quality Control of all Energy Upgrade Measures.
-
Maintenance of SEAI and ESB Networks Technical and Quality Standards.
-
Issue of External Wall Insulation Warranties and Homeowner Aftercare manuals to Homeowners who received External Wall Insulation.
