Cork City Council Vacant Houses
Project Description
This project was carried under Cork City Council, Vacant Houses Batches 2e and 2d, 2014. All works were completed to the required Cork City Council standards in a restrictive timescale.
SE Systems were appointed as Main Contractor and PSCS for Turnkey Refurbishment of Cork City Council Vacant Housing Stock. The project included installing a range of energy measures
High Efficiency Gas Boilers with Heating Controls | Energy Efficient uPVC Windows upgrades | Energy Efficient uPVC Doors upgrades | Internal Dry lining | Mechanical and Electrical installations | Wall and Roof ventilation
SE Systems were appointed as Main Contractor and PSCS to co-ordinate, survey and install the following energy upgrade measures.
- The safe and efficient delivery of this project in compliance with Health and Safety Authority Legislation. Daily safety audits were conducted during works by SE Systems designated Safety Officer.

Compiling a detailed Site Safety Management Plan, Task specific Risk Assessments and detailed Method Statements to send for approved to concerned parties prior to commencement of works throughout the various program stages.

Registering the site and updating with the HSA through the AF1 and AF2 online AF2 process.

Daily safety audits, conducted by SE Systems designated Safety Officer.

SE Systems as an ISO9001 certified main contractor appointed sub- contractors for various trades from their approved contractors list. Each contractor wasfully briefed in their role and were issued with a detailed programme of works outlining start and completion dates.

SE Systems conducted weekly site meetings with all contractors and reviewed works programme until completion along with DJF Consulting Engineers & DOSA Consultants & PSDP .
