NCE Little Hands Childcare & Early Education Centre
Project Summary
This project was carried out and part funded under SEAI’s Better Energy Communities (BEC) programme 2014.
Design and Turnkey Fit-Out of Exemplary Childcare & Early Education Facility; catering to the needs of 120 Children of varying ages.
SE Systems were responsible for all elements of the project. All works were successfully completed on time and on budget over a phased 5 month programme.
The scope of the work for this project is as follows:
Demolition & Structural Alterations | General Building & Groundworks | uPVC Windows & Doors Installation | Fire Doors & Screens | Fire Rated Metal Stud Partitions | Acoustic Metal Stud Partitions | Fire Rated Plasterboard Ceilings | Suspended Grid & Tile Ceilings | Carpentry & Joinery Installation | Plumbing & Heating Installation | Mechanical & Airconditioning Works | Electrical & Fire Alarm Installation | Wood, Anti-slip vinyl & Carpet Flooring | Fire Escape Stairs & External Walkways | Fitted Furniture & Kitchen | Soft Play Areas | Tarmac & Landscaping
As Main Contractor for this Project, SE Systems carried out the following roles:

Project Supervisor Construction Stage.

Project Management.

Health and Safety Co-ordinator.

Appointment and Management of Sub-Contractors to include all trades.

Scheduling of Work Programmes and administration of weekly site meetings.

Liaise with Tenants and Island Energy Committee on work schedules.

Quality Control of all Energy Upgrade Measures.

Maintenance of SEAI – Technical and Quality Standards.

Issue of External Wall insulation Warranties and Homeowner Aftercare manuals to Homeowners who received External Wall Insulation.
