Ashbourne Golf Club

Project Summary
 
This project was carried out and part funded under SEAI’s Better Energy Communities (BEC) Scheme 2014.
 
This project involved improving the energy efficiency of the Ashbourne Golf Club and Pro shop in Co Meath. Ashbourne Golf Club is a 2 storey pitched roof sports facility, originally constructed 1915 rebuilt 1994. The building was poorly insulated.
 
The Golf Club will benefit from installation of Attic Insulation product.
 
As Main Contractor for this Project, SE Systems carried out the following roles:
 
  1. Project Management.
  2. Health and Safety Co-ordinator.
  3. Appointment and Management of Sub-Contractors to include all trades.
  4. Scheduling of Work Programmes and administration of weekly site meetings.
  5. Co-ordination of Services.
  6. Liaise with Tenants on a daily basis.
  7. Quality Control of all Energy Upgrade Measures.
  8. Maintenance of SEAI - Technical and Quality Standards.
  9. Issue of External Wall Insulation Warranties and Homeowner Aftercare manuals to Homeowners who receive External Wall Insulation.
The success of this project lies mainly in the innovative partnership approach taken with all project partners; SE Systems, SSE Airtricity, NCE Insulation and SEAI.
