Project Summary
This project was carried out and part funded under SEAI’s Better Energy Communities (BEC) Scheme 2014.
SE Systems were appointed as Main Contractors and PSCS for this project, responsible for all elements of the project. Turnkey Fit-Out of Exemplary Childcare & Early Education Facility; catering to the needs of 120 Children of varying ages.
The scope of work for this project is detailed as follows:
Demolition & Structural Alterations | General building & Groundworks | uPVC Windows & Doors Installation | Fire Doors & Screens | Fire Rated Metal Stud Partitions | Acoustic Metal Stud Partitions | Fire Rated Plasterboard Ceilings | Suspended Grid & Tile Ceilings | Carpentry & Joinery Installation | Plumbing & Heating Installation | Mechanical & Air Conditioning Works | Electrical & Fire Alarm Installation | Wood, Anti-slip Vinyl & Carpet Flooring | Fire Escape Stairs & External Walkways | Fitted Furniture & Kitchen | Soft Play Areas, Tarmac & landscaping.
All works were successfully completed on time and on budget over a phased 5 month programme.
As Main Contractor for this Project, SE Systems carried out the following roles:

Project Management.

Health and Safety Co-Ordinator.

Appointment and Management of Sub-Contractors to include all trades.

Scheduling of Work Programmes and administration of weekly site meetings.

Co-ordination of Services.

Liaise with Tenants on a daily basis.

Quality Control of all Energy Upgrade Measures.

Maintenance of SEAI - Technical and Quality Standards.

Issue of External Wall Insulation Warranties and Homeowner Aftercare manuals to Homeowners who receive External Wall Insulation.
